Places to Visit
Steve & Gill would like to welcome you to Glebe Farm CL, having been members of the Club for over 20 years we have tried to make a site which we would be pleased to visit ourselves.
Glebe Farm CL is a south facing site, situated on a small working farm close to Woodhall Spa in the heart of rural Lincolnshire. The site is in a secure location and the pitches are on a level free draining lawned area. There is plenty of space for awnings and all pitches have 16amp electric hook ups. Both adults and families are welcome as are well behaved pets by arrangement. Recycling facilities on site. There is excellent television reception on this site.
Visitors can see an abundance of wildlife including deer, foxes, barn owls, brown hare and many others from the comfort of their caravan.
We have a local public house, The Ebrington Arms at Kirkby on Bain which is approx. 3 miles from the site. They serve home cooked food and a variety of different ales. There are also different sorts of cuisine on offer at Horncastle and Woodhall Spa. The location is well situated for exploring the local area either on foot, by bicycle or by car.
Nearby is the Spa Trail, a disused railway line good for walking or cycling to the town of Horncastle where you will find many antique shops as well as coffee shops and restaurants.
Woodhall Spa is just a short distance away with its unique Kinema in the Woods, the Petwood Hotel, Jubilee Park and the Dambusters Memorial.
A little further away is the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at Coningsby, the excellent Thorpe Camp Visitors Centre, run by volunteers, East Kirkby Aviation Heritage Centre and Tattershall Castle where you can enjoy views over Lincolnshire and beyond. Holy Trinity church is just by the castle and is where you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a cake after your exertions.
Within a 30 minute drive you can visit the coastal town of Skegness, the market towns of Boston and Louth or the historic city of Lincoln where you will find the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral and the award winning Lincoln Castle, the home of the Magna Carta, in the Uphill area of the city.
For those of you who like wildlife there are nature reserves at Kirkby on Bain and at Snipe Dales which is between Horncastle and Spilsby.
If it is peace and tranquillity you are looking for this is an ideal site for you.
NO EV Charging, nearest charging point Woodhall Spa

Lovely site!
This CL on a working farm is a credit to Steve & Gill, who are extremely friendly and accommodating. Although only 18 miles from our home , we can't resist the opportunity to spend time here either to relax and chill or put on the walking boots. Always immaculate, with grass mown and picked up! Nearby Woodhall Spa (complete with cinema) is great for browsing.
Gem of a site
Have just returned from 3 weeks at this fantastic site. The owners Gill & Steve are caravanners themselves so understand what is needed. The site is level with close mown grass and large pitches for caravan, car and awning. Nothing is too much trouble for them and information on the local area is available. There is plenty to see and do whatever the weather. If you are looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy the peace and surroundings then this is the site for you. Thanks Gill & Steve we shall
Lovely well kept peaceful site
Just returned from this lovely cl. The owners Steve and Gill are very accommodating and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. It is a well kept peaceful site all you can hear are the birds and sheep. It was our visit here but would definitely visit again.
What A Wonderful CL and Perfect Hosts
A great big thank you to both Steve & Gill for being the Perfect hosts whilst we stayed on Glebe farm CL. Covid secure with all protection in place, nothing is to much trouble for this couple (a real credit to the club). Large grass pitches with plenty of room for a car and awning, peaceful and tranquil setting but with plenty to do in nearby Woodhall Spa, and only a 35min drive to wonderful sandy beaches. Will definitely return for another visit, hopefully Covid19 free next time as shopping with facemasks is no joy and a lot of attractions were closed. Well done and thank you once again. Chris & Kath

Always Returning
You could not ask for a better CL. Always a warm welcome from Steve and Gill and for that matter all at the local pub (6 or 7 real ales on tap and excellent food) together with all those folks at the Parish Churches in the area. Site doggy friendly (for well behaved dogs); Pub Doggy friendly (Ebrington Arms in Kirkby). Some good walking especially along the old railway line trail from Woodhall to Horncastle and down the Canalised River Bain to the pub for lunch. This is a working farm, but Steve always has the time to have a friendly chat and banter. Our dog loves to see his two friends Jack and Tom. Toilet with hot and cold water always immaculately kept, as is the grass cutting on the very level site, which is just behind the farmhouse. Should really not be recommending this site, as it might get too full and we might not get in when we phone! Well done Steve and Gill and see you soon again.
Happy Caravanners
We booked on this site for a 4 night stay but rang the owner the day before we were due to arrive to see if we could come a day early as the Met Office had predicted high gusty winds for the day we were due to travel. As he was not full, Steve was happy to accommodate our request at short notice. This site is really peaceful (except for the occasional aeroplane flying over). The site is behind the farmhouse and is flat and really well kept. There is a spotless toilet on site with H&C water, towel and loo paper provided. It is close to Woodhall Spa and Horncastle and about 45 minutes from Mablethorpe. The National Trust property at Tattershall castle and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight are only a short distance away. We found the owners helpful and happy to tell us where the best places to eat were located. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.
Fantastic Site
